Jimei School Village, located in Jimei Village on Xiamen’s Jimei Peninsula, encompasses various schools and cultural institutions. Founded in 1913 by the renowned patriotic overseas Chinese leader Chen Jiageng, it is well-known both domestically and internationally. Our design elements aim to reimagine the architectural style of Jimei School Village by incorporating Western-style arch elements and embodying the spirit of “loyalty, integrity, diligence, and innovation” championed by Chen Jiageng. By integrating the Western-style arches with scholarly elements like the mortarboard and employing a modern Chinese approach, we highlight the distinctive features of the signage and architectural elements of the area.
